3. Children at wedding Ceremonies

If possible, sit children towards the end of aisle this way if for any reason they are being a bit let’s say restless you can pop outside easier then say if they are sat in the middle of the fourth aisle

4. Children’s photos at weddings

When it comes to the photoshoots on your wedding’s day if possible, try and get the shots with little guests out the way early this way you avoid and mucky outfits (in case they have a juice box accident by squeezing to hard) and also avoid any tired tantrums and you get all smiles and beautiful little poses.

5. Children at the wedding breakfast

Think about how you want to seat your little one’s
options (with parents or on their own kids table away from parents)

The second option would work best if you’re having creche service like ours as the children can be looked after and taken away for games activities just before the speeches are about to start.

If not, I would say op for sitting little ones with parents and providing activity packs these packs are great from Keep them quite.com(a bit different from the norm) colouring pages that will get discarded quite quickly

Keep them quiet have amazing activity packs that are even fit for the royals, filled with lots of bits and bobs to keep your little guests entertained during your wedding breakfast

6. Children’s food

If working alongside caterers & they have an option for a child friendly meal for your wedding breakfast go for it! Of course, the last thing you thought you would be serving at your wedding breakfast is fish fingers however if it feeds those little belly’s and puts parents minds at ease knowing their little ones have eaten more than just the contents of your sweet table it’s a win win plus it might cost you less!!

7. Children at weddings special moments

There’s lots of ways to get little ones involved outside the traditional ways such as being a flower girl or page boy.

A great way is to give them a special job such as handing out present to the bridal party maid of honour or say mother of the bride. giving them a big boy or girl job such as saying a few words if you have a little guest that is a born star this can really be a lovely moment.

We have seen our little guests steal the limelight from the best man and get bigger laughs!! Watch out best men!!

8. Getting Comfy

After a long day the stunning little outfits your little guest are in might becoming a bit uncomfortable so great idea is to make sure you have a change of clothes (very much like the bridesmaids changing in to flip flops).

If your little guests are staying through to the evening entertainment suggest to parents to bring pjs or a great option is giving out some awesome personalised PJs meaning kids are comfy & can fall to sleep added bonus is when they get back to the hotel etc parents/ Merry guests don’t have to worry about get them ready for bed… Yay!!

9. Chill Zone

Toward the end of the night as you’re getting the party started and the music/ band /DJ are getting everyone up on the dance floor some of your little guests will want to boogie and show off their dance moves they will probably become tired at long last. Check with your Venue if you have a quite secure room that potentially may have a tv so you can create a chill-out zone pop on a movie Why not add some popcorn in to mix.

So the children can have a relaxing space to have a chill-out and a little snooze.

10. Bring in a creche/ nanny company

If you really want to take the all the stress out and want your little guests to have the best time with some added care so parents can really let their hair day that’s where we come in @ The little Wedding Creche we are on hand to provide exactly that providing bespoke play spaces & the perfect childcare for your perfect day.
